FROM SCENT TO CANDLE

Every XIX scent is an original composition, created by blending and reworking selected fine fragrances and oils until it finds a character of its own. Then comes the candle — the medium that carries the scent. From our soy and coconut wax blend to the premium lead-free cotton wick, every element is selected and tested to let the composition perform at its best. Each candle is made in limited numbers, in small batches.

CONSIDERED CHOICES

What goes into a scent matters as much as how it feels. Our candles are made with a plant-based blend of soy and coconut wax. We select our fragrance components and oils with safety standards in mind and develop our formulations in line with IFRA guidelines. Our products are vegan and never tested on animals.

  • SOMETIMES, JUST OURSELVES

There are evenings when, after spending the whole day out, we come home not wanting to talk to anyone. Putting on some music we love, catching up on a series we've been watching, or simply scrolling through our phones with no particular purpose… Sometimes the best hours of the day are the ones we don't have to give to anyone else.

  • LET'S STAY A LITTLE LONGER

The table is set, dinner is served, and the glasses are filled. As we eat, someone starts telling a story, while someone else brings another bottle from the kitchen. The conversation turns serious at times, then suddenly everyone bursts into laughter. It's clear nobody's leaving this table anytime soon. And that's just how we like these evenings — with no particular time for them to end.

  • NEVER EMPTY-HANDED

When we're invited to someone's home, we like to bring something along. Sometimes a good bottle of wine, sometimes flowers, or a little something we think our host might enjoy. It's not so much about what we bring, but the thought of bringing something just for them. And then there's that first smile when the door opens.

  • WITH SOMEONE IN MIND

Sometimes we come across something we weren't looking for, and someone immediately comes to mind. It's just their kind of thing. We can picture where they'd put it in their home, perhaps even what they'd say as they unwrap it. There may be no celebration or special occasion, but we already know exactly who we'd give it to.
