Some scents are born from the desire to carry a city with us, even when we're far away.
During the years I lived in Baku, whenever I visited Istanbul, I would bring back scented candles that reminded me of the city. Lighting them in my home in Baku felt like taking a piece of Istanbul with me.
Years later, when I began creating my own scents, one question came to mind: What would my Istanbul smell like?
Beyond the usual images of Istanbul: a city of crowds, noise, love, danger, and endless struggles. A city where different ideas and ways of life have tried to coexist for centuries, sometimes finding common ground, sometimes struggling to do so.
Pomegranate Blessing was born from my desire to turn our inexplicable passion for Istanbul into a scent, using the pomegranate as a symbol of abundance and red as the colour of love.
